Asiatique The Riverfront is an open air mall with a nice view on the Chao Pao river. It consists of a bunch of small shops and a few nice restaurants.
Once again, there were very little people here. That means you can go through the shops easily and the best spots at the restaurants, with the best views are not taken.
We ordered a few cocktails with a view on river while the sun set down. We both got a little tipsy and I wanted to go on the big Ferris wheel you can’t miss next to the mall.
Without good thinking, I paid 900 Baht for two persons (around €25) for the Ferris wheel. Let me tell you, not worth the money. Yes, you have a nice view over Bangkok but for this 900 Baht, you’d better go to a rooftop bar and order a cocktail to have a nicer view over Bangkok.
As I was kind of tipsy, I didn’t think properly how much money I actually paid for a ticket at that time. Oops… 😉
